Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Digital Workplace & Productivity to lead the technologies and services that power the employee experience across the enterprise. This role is responsible for defining and executing the Digital Workplace strategy, overseeing end-user computing, Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, enterprise SaaS applications, and emerging productivity technologies that enable employees to work efficiently, securely, and effectively.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute the enterprise Digital Workplace strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead the delivery and optimization of employee productivity technologies, including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Oversee endpoint engineering, device lifecycle management, mobile technologies, virtual desktop environments, and endpoint security.
  • Manage the enterprise SaaS portfolio, including governance, licensing, vendor management, and cost optimization.
  • Drive adoption of AI, automation, and productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Partner with HR, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and business leaders to improve the digital employee experience.
  • Establish service excellence through strong governance, support models, automation, knowledge management, and self-service capabilities.
  • Ensure workplace technologies meet security, compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA standards.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar budgets, technology investments, software licensing, and strategic vendor relationships.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer service.


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience supporting workplace technologies and end-user services.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, end-user computing, SaaS applications, and digital workplace strategy.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide technology transformation and adoption initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of employee experience, change management, technology governance, and operational excellence.
  • Experience managing large technology budgets and vendor relationships.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Digital Adoption Platforms, and SaaS governance programs.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience supporting large, geographically distributed organizations.
