Director of Competitive and Platform Intelligence is a strategic leadership role that transforms complex market, competitive, customer, and platform data into actionable insights that guide Aerospace growth strategy, portfolio and investment decisions, and commercial execution. Serving as the enterprise authority on aerospace platforms and competitive dynamics, this role partners with Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and senior leaders to inform where-to-play/how-to-win decisions, enable spec-in strategies, and support winning current and future platforms.
This position reports to the Vice President, Global Marketing and Strategy, and is part of the Pall Aerospace Global Marketing and Strategy team and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL or Port Washington, NY. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Lead end-to-end market intelligence for the Aerospace business, including market sizing, segmentation, demand drivers, and early signals across commercial, defense, and aftermarket segments.
- Own competitive intelligence across platforms, pricing, technology roadmaps, and M&A, delivering clear competitor profiles, battlecards, and win/loss insights to inform strategy and commercial decisions.
- Lead platform intelligence and penetration efforts, maintaining visibility into current and future OEM and defense platforms, refresh cycles, spec-in dynamics, and platform-level outcomes.
- Serve as Product Owner for Energy Transition platforms by defining platform vision, customer value proposition, differentiation, and long-term roadmap direction.
- Support Aerospace growth and strategic planning through fact-based market insights, adjacency identification, business case development, investment prioritization, and M&A evaluation.
The essential requirements of the job include:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Prefer 10+ years of experience in product/ portfolio management, platform strategy, competitive intelligence, strategy, or related roles within Aerospace or complex B2B industries.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
- Strong executive communication skills and comfort influencing across functions.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:- Up to ~25% domestic and international travel, as required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:- Experience in management consulting or corporate strategy in regulated or technology-driven markets.
- Background in aerospace energy transition applications (e.g., SAF, electrification, hydrogen, thermal management, emissions reduction).
- Deep understanding of aerospace platforms, OEM and defense customers, and spec-driven purchasing dynamics.

The annual salary range for this role is $170,000 - $185,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
