Description:Position Summary:The Director of Compensation is responsible for the governance and execution of all compensation programs across retail stores and the Store Support Center for EG America. This role works with the VP of Total Rewards to set the enterprise compensation philosophy and then ensures programs are competitive, scalable, and aligned to business performance.
This leader oversees base salary structures, incentive design, job architecture, and market competitiveness. They serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and Executive teams to drive data-informed compensation decisions that support talent attraction, retention, and business growth.
Responsibilities:- Serve as subject matter expert and provide day-to-day compensation support.
- Collaborate and partner with Leadership Support Team, HR Business Partners & Talent Acquisition on pay decisions.
- Manage the mid-year and year-end compensation process in alignment with the performance evaluation process using compensation modeling, data analytics and benchmarking.
- Develop and track compensation reporting metrics and communicate actionable insights to Leadership Support Team.
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to executive leadership on compensation trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Administer and participate in salary surveys and monitor salary survey data to ensure competitiveness.
- Design and deliver compensation communication to managers and employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws.
- Manage long-term and short-term store support incentive plans.
- Collaborate with Finance on retail store incentive plans.
- Collaborate with Legal on acquisition and divestment activities.
- Manage the annual expense budgeting and forecasting process for the Human Resources department.

Requirements:Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Human Resources or related field
Preferred Education: Master's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Human Resources or related field
Minimum Experience: 8-12 years in Finance or Human Resources with strong analytic duties
Preferred Experience: 12+ years in Finance or Human Resources with strong analytic duties
