JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Manages the doctoral internship curriculum, site placements, student evaluations, and APA accreditation compliance. This position is essential for navigating the transition from student to professional, ensuring that training meets legal, ethical, and clinical standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitors the performance, placement, and productivity of all clinical students and coordinates placement needs, and student assignments.
  • Program Management & Compliance: Handles day-to-day clinical activities, policy decisions, curriculum planning, and writing APA annual reports and maintaining records for reaccreditation.
  • Student Oversight: Conducts student evaluations, addresses grievances, and monitors progress.
  • Faculty Liaison: Works with consortium faculty to align didactic training with clinical practice.
  • Provides instruction, clinical supervision, and administrative guidance to students in the Centerstone Consortium Internship program, doctoral extern program and post-doctoral psychology programs.
  • Functions in administrative and training capacities consistent with the requirements of the Centerstone Consortium Internship program and doctoral externship programs, maintains clinical competencies and program needs to monitor budget issues in assigned programs.
  • Develops, implements, and reviews internship and practicum policies, procedures and standards for the internship and externship programs.
  • Arranges trainings with internal trainers and outside providers/vendors (scheduling, documenting, procuring resources, etc.) and monitors didactic delivery for compliance with American Psychological Association standards.
  • Maintains records in compliance with APA internship requirements.
  • Provides individual and group supervision and monitors supervision provided by other professionals.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong leadership, communication, and experience with APA standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology required.

Years of Experience

Assessment experience required.

Certification/Licensure

Must be a Licensed Psychologist.
