Position Summary

The Director of Clinic Operations provides operational oversight and strategic leadership for a network of ambulatory clinics, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President or Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for driving performance across clinical, financial, and administrative domains. The Director leads a team of clinic managers and collaborates with physicians, staff, and executive leadership to optimize workflows, enhance patient experience, and achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence across clinics by standardizing policies, procedures, and performance metrics, while overseeing key functions including finance, marketing, HR, IT, and ancillary services.
  • Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders - while collaborating with clinical dyads and executive leadership to foster provider engagement and alignment, and representing service lines in professional organizations and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead the creation and execution of innovative care models and service delivery enhancements, support managed care and third-party contracting initiatives, and contribute to compensation and reimbursement strategies as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, while maintaining accountability for meeting approved performance targets and reporting outcomes.
  • Support strategic initiatives to improve clinical, operational, and financial performance, expand market access, and drive innovation and quality through collaboration with clinical dyads and executive leadership.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $124,425.60 - $179,046.40 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
