The Information Networking Institute (INI) at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) educates and develops engineers through technical, interdisciplinary master’s degree programs in information networking, security and mobile and IoT engineering that incorporate business and policy perspectives.
The INI seeks a Director of Career Services to join our team. In this role, you will lead the strategic vision and day-to-day execution of career readiness, professional development programs, and employer relations across the INI graduate programs. This position is based in Pittsburgh, with the option of a hybrid work schedule, and requires occasional travel to the CMU-Silicon Valley (CMU-SV) location. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who assesses student and corporate partner needs, develops creative strategies, and proactively takes appropriate action. The person in this role will work closely with the INI team in Pittsburgh and partner with the CMU-SV Career Services team to design, maintain, and execute a comprehensive career development and employer engagement strategy for INI graduate students in both Pittsburgh and Silicon Valley.
