  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed by the CEO.

Responsibilities

The Director of Business Development oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department, and is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization's continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods. As a member of the facility management team, is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including, but not limited to, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changing in programing/protocols, recruitment and retention. Responsible for the facility's strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with CEO and Director of Admissions/Intake. Work hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours, as directed by the CEO.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility) Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 206-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, gym, outdoor courtyard and playground. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required

  • Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
  • Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred
  • Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred (Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree)
  • Prefer knowledge of the Oklahoma behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming.
  • Must possess demonstrated superior leadership abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in application of marketing principles including product, placement, pricing and promotion as well as management of sales, advertising, social media, online presence and, public relations resources; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection and analysis, interpretation, application and, evaluation; strategic planning skills; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; teaching or training skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required
