Job Title: Director of Business Development
Location: Minneapolis, MN | Onsite Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

Job Summary:

The Director of Business Development is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving new customer acquisition. This role focuses on identifying high-potential prospects, executing outbound sales campaigns, qualifying inbound marketing leads, and converting new opportunities into long-term partnerships. Success in this role means consistently opening new doors, securing initial meetings, and building a strong pipeline of new business.

In addition, this role is responsible to support business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

What does a normal day look like?
  • Develop and execute strategic outbound prospecting plans (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Qualify and nurture inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns.
  • Identify and target key accounts that align with the company's service offerings.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities and progress them through the sales funnel.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to prospective customers and manage the sales process through close.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize messaging and campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
