Director of Business Development Manager - Telecommunications
Triage Partners is seeking a seasoned telecommunications business development professional with an established network of ISP, Electric Cooperative, municipal broadband, and strategic telecom industry contacts. This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities across engineering, OSP construction, fiber deployment, splicing, staffing, managed services, and I&R. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the broadband ecosystem, from Central Office through OSP construction and customer activation, including BEAD-funded initiatives.
Description:
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting ISPs, Electric Cooperatives, municipal broadband providers, utilities, and engineering firms.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across OSP construction, FTTH/FTTP deployments, engineering, staffing, managed services, splicing, drops, and I&R.
• Leverage existing executive relationships to generate new revenue and long-term partnerships.
• Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, proposals, contract negotiations, and account growth.
• Monitor BEAD, IIJA, RDOF, and state broadband funding opportunities and position Triage for upcoming projects.
• Represent Triage at industry conferences, customer meetings, and trade events.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of telecommunications business development and sales experience.
• Established relationships with ISP, Co-Op, utility, municipal broadband, and telecom decision makers.
• Strong understanding of FTTH/FTTP, OSP construction, Central Office, fiber deployment, splicing, and I&R.
• Experience selling telecommunications construction, field services, engineering, and workforce solutions.
• Proven history of developing new accounts and closing complex service agreements.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
