Full Job Description
About the Role

This role is the new business engine for Super Age's brand partnerships function. You will build a pipeline from scratch, open doors at brands and media agencies, and close integrated partnerships spanning content, media, podcast, and live events. You're not inheriting a pipeline - you're building the one this function runs on from day one.

You will have real input on packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy. You'll also have direct exposure to founders, ownership, and the buildout of a new commercial organization. This is a builder's seat at a brand in its breakout moment.

This role owns the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, structure, negotiate, close, and hand off cleanly to activation. You will transition and grow an existing book of newsletter advertisers, upselling performance buyers into brand programs, while simultaneously developing net-new relationships with media agencies and brand marketers.

This is a role for someone who does not wait for inbound leads or manage a warm book of renewals - this role is for someone who builds from nothing and prefers it that way.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • A hunter. Your track record is new logos, not renewals. You've built pipeline from nothing, and you prefer it that way.
  • A system-driven self-starter. You don't wait for marketing to hand you leads - you build your own lists, write your own outreach, and revise your own decks.
  • A media and agency insider. You understand how content-led deals are structured (themes, editorial integration, events, talent, first-party data) - you've packaged ideas, not just inventory - and you know how agency dollars actually move: who buys, who influences, who signs off.
  • A confident communicator. You can hold a room with a CMO and negotiate line items with a media planner in the same day.
  • No ego about the grind. List building, follow-ups, last-minute deck revisions - nobody here is above the scrap.
  • A genuine believer. You have real interest in health, wellness, and longevity. You want to live this brand, not just sell it.
Accountabilities

New Business Development
  • Own a new business quota with accountability for closed revenue
  • Prospect relentlessly across cold outreach, agency development, category mapping, and event networking
  • Build and manage relationships with media agencies and brand marketers across wellness, fitness, luxury, travel, financial services, and CPG
  • Develop and maintain a structured pipeline from initial outreach through close

Partnership Sales and Packaging
  • Sell integrated partnership programs spanning content, media, podcast, commerce, and live events
  • Package themes, editorial integrations, and multi-platform programs - you sell ideas, not placements off a rate card
  • Respond to RFPs with proposals that win on creativity and strategic fit, not discounts
  • Work the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, structure, negotiate, close, then hand off cleanly to activation

Account Transition and Growth
  • Transition and grow an existing book of newsletter advertisers
  • Upsell performance buyers into integrated brand programs
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts while keeping new business development primary

Go-to-Market Collaboration
  • Provide market feedback to inform product and partnership development
  • Represent Super Age at industry events and networking opportunities

Requirements

Required Experience
    • Minimum 3 years selling integrated content, branded content, or media partnerships at a publisher, media brand, or content studio
    • Demonstrated track record of building pipelines from scratch and closing net-new business
    • Deep understanding of how content-led deals are structured: themes, editorial integration, events, talent, and first-party data
    • Established media agency fluency - buying process, budget cycles, key stakeholders
    • Experience with modern prospecting tools (Apollo, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, or equivalents)
    • Proven ability to sell multi-platform programs, not single-format placements
    • Proven experience running the full sales cycle through close and activation handoff

Benefits

This is a work-from-home role. Candidates must be based in the New York City area and available to attend in-person events and partnership meetings as business needs require. This position is typically Monday through Friday.

Super Age offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer match, and company-paid short-term disability.

Base salary: $115,000-$135,000, plus variable compensation plan

On-target earnings (OTE): Available upon request / to be discussed during interview process

Commission: Uncapped on closed revenue
