Job Profile Summary Plans, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates the operations and organization to provide quality, cost-effective patient/resident care, and efficient, effective utilization of staff, supplies, and equipment. Develops, implements, and evaluates goals and standard operating procedures.
Job DescriptionParticipates in ongoing performance activities. Works closely with clinical leaders to ensure that clinical and operational objectives are met. Responsible for strategic development and implementation of strategies to achieve growth, quality, patient/resident experience, performance improvement, and employee engagement goals. Responsible for operational performance and budget development and achievement, employee performance, physician committee, and relationships. Knowledgeable of the areas of responsibility and commitment to continual learning and a passion to implement industry "best practices". The coordination of ancillary services throughout to support patient/resident care is essential and guided by providing an excellent patient/resident care experience. Possesses vision and values that are compatible with the organization and is focused on excellence and competitive service levels for outpatient services. Embraces systems thinking and is skillful in managing change. Understands a system approach to problem solving and process improvement involving staff. Demonstrates skills in a successful communication and motivation. Excellent collaborative and interdisciplinary skills. Easily approachable and people-orientated. Confident and assertive while exercising good judgment. Ability to work independently. Possesses strong oral and written communication skills. Oversees day-to-day operations of various ancillary departments.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or minimum six years of past experience.
commensurate with areas of responsibility; Master's degree is preferred.
Three years of proven management and/or leadership experience is preferred.
Licensed or registered in a clinical field only if performing job duties that require specific
licensure or credentials.
