DescriptionRedington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) is seeking a strategic, experienced, and collaborative Director of Ambulatory Practices to lead and oversee the operations of our outpatient primary care and specialty clinics. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the development of a patient-centered service model across all ambulatory settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction for all ambulatory and outpatient primary care and specialty clinics
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve access, patient experience, and clinical outcomes
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, workflow optimization, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
- Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to align ambulatory services with organizational goals
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, quality, and safety
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial sustainability
- Support recruitment, retention, and professional development of staff
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Progressive leadership experience in ambulatory or outpatient healthcare settings
- Strong understanding of rural healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement models
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance improvement
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
The annual salary range for this position is $120,000-160,000, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
