The Director of AI Solutions is a strategic technology and businesstransformation leader responsible for identifying, developing, implementing,and driving adoption of artificial intelligence and automation solutions acrossthe organization. This role serves as the bridge between business operationsand emerging technologies, ensuring AI initiatives generate measurable businessvalue, improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and supportorganizational growth.
The Director of AI Solutionspartners with executive leadership, division leaders, and operationalstakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, advancedanalytics, and AI-enabled decision support. This position combines strong businessacumen, technical understanding, project leadership, and change management tosuccessfully implement solutions across sales, distribution, fabrication,service, finance, and administrative functions.

• Develop and execute the organization's AIstrategy aligned with business objectives, operational priorities, and growthinitiatives.
• Partner with executive and division leadershipto identify opportunities where AI, automation, and advanced analytics canimprove efficiency, profitability, customer experience, and decision-making.
• Establish and maintain an enterprise AI projectroadmap based on business impact, implementation complexity, organizationalreadiness, risk, and return on investment.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms,vendors, and industry trends to identify opportunities for operational andcompetitive advantage.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executiveleadership regarding AI capabilities, limitations, risks, opportunities, andstrategic investments.
• Lead the design, development, implementation,and lifecycle management of AI-driven business solutions.
• Analyze business processes and operationalchallenges to determine appropriate AI, automation, analytics, technology, orprocess-improvement solutions.
• Translate business requirements and strategicobjectives into practical technology solutions with measurable businessoutcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teamsconsisting of operational leaders, business analysts, developers, dataspecialists, IT resources, and external partners.
• Oversee the integration of AI solutions withexisting business systems, including ERP, CRM, inventory management, fieldservice, financial, and operational platforms.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improvesales forecasting, quoting and proposal development, pricing and marginanalysis, inventory management, procurement, supply chain, fabricationscheduling, quality assurance, service operations, maintenance programs, andadministrative workflows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort,eliminate process bottlenecks, improve data accessibility, and enhanceorganizational decision-making.
• Establish measurable objectives and keyperformance indicators for AI initiatives and communicate operational andfinancial results to leadership.
• Ensure AI projects are delivered withinestablished scope, schedule, budget, security, and performance expectations.
• Establish governance standards for thedevelopment, deployment, monitoring, and responsible use of AI technologies.
• Ensure AI initiatives comply with organizationaldata security standards, privacy requirements, regulatory obligations, andinternal governance requirements.
• Partner with IT, cybersecurity, legal, andoperational stakeholders to identify and mitigate technology, data, security,and compliance risks.
• Establish controls to monitor AI solutionaccuracy, reliability, security, performance, utilization, and business impact.
• Develop and execute organizational adoption andchange-management strategies to support successful implementation of AItechnologies.
• Develop education and training initiatives toimprove organizational understanding and effective utilization of AI-enabledtools.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuousimprovement, responsible experimentation, and adoption of emergingtechnologies.
SupervisoryResponsibility:
This position haslimited supervisory responsibility that directly relates to projects andcustomer relations, not personnel.
Work Environment:
While performingthe duties of this job, the employee will mostly be in a standard officesetting seated at a desk with a computer and phone workstation. Use of typicaloffice equipment such as, but not limited to printer, scanner, fax machine,keyboard and smart devices.
Physical Demands:
The physicaldemands described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talkand hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending andkneeling. The employee may also sit for long periods of time while driving orworking at a computer workstation. Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is afull-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may berequired as job duties demand.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Master's degreein business administration, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering,or related discipline preferred.
• Relevant AI,technology, project management, or cloud-platform certifications
• 8+ years ofprogressive experience in technology leadership, product management, digitaltransformation, or business systems implementation.
• Minimum 3 yearsof experience leading AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or automationinitiatives.
• Demonstratedexperience successfully delivering enterprise technology solutions from conceptthrough deployment and adoption.
• Experiencesupporting industrial, manufacturing, distribution, service, oroperations-focused organizations preferred.
• Proven successleading cross-functional teams and managing organizational change initiatives.
Required Education and Knowledge:
• Bachelor's degreein computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, BusinessAdministration, Data Analytics, or related field required.
• Strongunderstanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning,predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and related technologies.
• Knowledge ofenterprise business systems including ERP, CRM, inventory management, fieldservice, and operational technology platforms.
• Exceptionalleadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability tocommunicate effectively with executives, technical teams, and frontlineoperational personnel.
• Strong analyticaland problem-solving abilities.
• Experiencemanaging technology vendors, consultants, and third-party solution providers.
• Understanding ofcybersecurity, data governance, and responsible AI principles.
• Ability totranslate strategic objectives into actionable technology solutions andmeasurable business outcomes.
