Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director, Activities/Recreation Therapy develops, implements and conducts programs which appeal to resident interests and will maximize their participation and enhance quality of life.
Manages programs and staff (van drivers, front desk, recreation coordinator) with budgetary and reporting responsibility.
Qualifications:- 3+ years of previous people leadership experience (hiring, training, coaching, performance management)
- 3+ years of activities program management experience
- Compassionate and positive approach to all people, especially older adults
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Previous budgetary responsibility
