DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

WINSTON WATER COOLER MANAGEMENT

Location:Dallas, TX (Onsite - Admin Office)
Schedule: Full-Time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Director of Accounts Payable to lead and strengthen our AP function in a high-volume, multi-branch environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving accuracy, accountability, and efficiency across all payables activity. The right person will bring structure to the team, improve processes, and ensure the function supports the pace of the business. This role is based onsite in our Dallas administration office and requires a strong leadership presence and day-to-day engagement with the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Payable function across all locations


  • Establish clear processes, expectations, and accountability across the team


  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense activity


  • Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase speed and accuracy


  • Drive practical automation and system improvements where they add value


  • Partner with operations and internal teams to resolve issues quickly


  • Manage vendor relationships and maintain strong communication


  • Monitor key AP metrics (timeliness, accuracy, aging, etc.) and report to leadership


  • Build, coach, and develop a reliable, high-performing AP team


  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7-10+ years of Accounts Payable experience with leadership responsibility


  • Experience managing AP in a high-volume, multi-entity environment


  • Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and workflow improvement


  • Hands-on leadership style - willing to be involved in day-to-day execution


  • Ability to bring structure, accountability, and consistency to a team


  • Clear, direct communicator who can work across departments


  • ERP experience required (Epicor or similar preferred)
