Full Job Description
As Director of Nuclear Business Development, you will lead relationships with utilities, industrial customers and strategic partners, identifying opportunities to deploy next-generation nuclear technologies while shaping long-term commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with utility and industrial customers across the nuclear market.
  • Lead business development and customer engagement activities from initial opportunity through proposal and contract stages.
  • Identify customer requirements and develop compelling commercial value propositions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, licensing, finance and supply chain to support customer pursuits.
  • Lead presentations, workshops, RFIs, RFPs and commercial negotiations.
  • Mentor and support Business Development professionals where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years' experience in power generation or energy infrastructure business development, commercial strategy or key account management.
  • Strong understanding of advanced nuclear, SMRs and/or utility procurement processes.
  • Experience developing commercial strategies for complex capital projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of nuclear licensing, export controls or reactor technologies is highly desirable.
