Full Job Description
Major Duties :3 Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures related to Finbourne, Legacy Renewal and Portfolio Accounting engine3 Ensures translation of business strategy to technology plan and implements successfully while making efficient use of the NT Architecture.3 Provides advisory to both Technology and business partners offering transparency to the planning and status of all technology activities3 Ensures the purpose and value of Tech activities is clearly communicated 5. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise in Azure, database, stream trade activity and reporting.3 Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department3 Guided by organization functional business plans, impacts the department results by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies

Knowledge :3 Excellent oral and written communication skills are required with ability to effectively communicate with senior managers and leaders3 Strong understanding of Cloud technologies, bring thought leadership/innovation on emerging new Tech practices3 Highly flexible and adaptable to change3 Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Azure, Large scale high performant systems design and high resiliency and failover) is required3 Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.3 Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance3 Persuades managers and leaders to take action and/or negotiates with external partners/vendors/clients

Experience :3 Manages multiple related teams, sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan3 A College or University degree and/or relevant. MBA is a plus with proven work experience in Project/Program Management is required. 15+ yrs of Banking and Custody business exposure in their IT systems is required. Minimum 2 Years of leadership experience/leading enterprise level strategic programs.

Salary Range:
$164,600 - 288,000 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
