Full Job Description
Leads and implements strategic plans and system objectives of Mission and Ministry at a campus level, providing oversight for process and outcomes. Participates in and supports the Mission Integration Committee initiatives, working with HR to integrate Mission into new hire orientation, existing staff re-orientation, and ongoing HR functions. Manages and participates in the delivery of certified and clinically integrated spiritual care to all patients, coordinating the clinical ministry of chaplains and collaborating with the clinical team to integrate spirituality into care. Provides direct pastoral care as appropriate and fosters a foundation of spiritual support for employees, enhancing a culture of care and compassion. Coordinates and facilitates ministry of chaplains to staff, including education, integration, and evaluation of mission quality standards, and recruits, leads, and inspires Spiritual Ambassadors. Develops and coordinates spiritual support follow-up for physicians, integrating AdventHealth mission into the physician culture. Establishes community partnerships, including health assessments and community health plans, focusing on County School districts and Faith Communities. Builds connections and trust with local congregations, engaging with the Academy and assisting with the development of new academies as requested. Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am -5pm, Some nights and weekends as needed.

3 Ability to effectively delegate, multi-task, and manage conflicting priority is essential. [Required]
3 Ability to function in demanding, stressful and fast-paced environment. [Required]
3 Skilled in crisis intervention. Highly adaptable and skilled in de-escalation and intervention of emotionally charged situations. [Required]
3 Computer skills and proficiency in MSOffice, and EMR applications. [Required]
3 Able to communicate effectively in additional languages [Preferred]
Education:
3 Master's [Required]
Field of Study:
3 of Divinity degree
3 Minimum of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education
3 Four-units or residency in Clinical Pastoral Education
Work Experience:
3 5+ years management experience in an acute care setting in a medium to large size hospital setting [Preferred]
3 5+ years supervisory or management experience in a hospital setting [Required]
3 Congregational pastoral experience [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$73,507.20 - $136,739.20
