Full Job Description

About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Membership & Frequency that will lead a unified, enterprise-wide approach to advancing customer frequency - and Membership is at the center of it. We define Membership not as a loyalty program, but as the system that organizes and coordinates customer relationships across all four banners, resulting in earned loyalty through personalized, relevant, and rewarding experiences. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role responsible for driving the strategy, governance, and execution of Tailored Brands' Membership and customer experience. The right person brings both strategic rigor and operational discipline, is equally comfortable in executive leadership forums and cross-functional working sessions and thrives in an environment where the foundation is strong and the pace of acceleration is high.

What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities
• Lead the ongoing development and refinement of a unified, banner-level Membership strategy - one that connects marketing, digital, Stores, and Ecomm into a clear and coordinated frequency growth agenda
• Translate the enterprise Frequency vision into a clear, sequenced roadmap with prioritized initiatives, defined success metrics, and banner-specific plans for TMW, JAB, Moores, and K&G
• Define and articulate the "north star" membership operating system: value proposition and program design, member lifecycle and journeys, personalization engine, and governance model
• Partner with senior leadership to build the narrative for internal alignment and external momentum
• Own and evolve the Membership governance cadence - including the quarterly Steering Committee, bi-weekly Membership Leads forum, and monthly cross-functional lookback - ensuring the right people are engaged and decisions are made at the right level
• Build and manage relationships across stores, merchandising, digital, data engineering, analytics, and marketing to drive coordinated execution and eliminate siloed efforts
• Serve as the connective tissue between the enterprise Frequency agenda and day-to-day membership execution - ensuring every initiative contributes to banner-level frequency goals
• Bring increasing top-down clarity to a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
• Oversee a rigorous test-and-learn culture, establishing a clear measurement framework with headline KPIs (2nd purchase rate, frequency, enrollment) and leading indicators by banner and initiative
• Champion the use of CCP, CDP, and AI decisioning tools to scale personalized, automated experiences across channels
• Lead, develop, and advocate for the Membership team - providing clarity on scope, roles, and how each person's work connects to the broader Frequency agenda
• Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and urgency - operating with the efficiency and agility needed to move faster and outpace macro headwinds

What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
• 12+ years of progressive experience in customer marketing, loyalty, membership, or personalization - ideally within retail, DTC, or a multi-brand environment
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or another related field
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional programs with measurable customer and financial outcomes
• Deep familiarity with the modern membership and personalization technology stack (CDP, CRM, AI decisioning, journey automation)
• Strong strategic instincts paired with a bias for execution - able to develop a clear point of view and drive it through a complex organization
• Exceptional communication and influence skills; comfortable presenting to and partnering with EC-level leadership
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analytics into actionable strategy
• High EQ and collaborative operating style - this role requires trust-building across many functions simultaneously.

Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. We encourage you to apply if you can meet most of the requirements and are comfortable opening a dialog to be considered.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
• Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from our Dublin, California office. Remote candidates will be considered.

Benefits

This role is eligible for healthcare including medical, dental and vision, retirement savings (401k with a company match), income protection programs such as life, accident and disability insurance, paid time off for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, and holidays, wellbeing program, commuter, adoption assistance, education assistance, legal services, and employee merchandise discounts.
