What You Will Do: L'Oréal USA seeks an entrepreneurial, results-driven, and transformational digital leader to serve as the
Director of Medical Direct B2B Commerce. This role will spearhead the development of our B2B business, specifically focusing on integrating, optimizing and scaling the PartnerShop e-commerce platform and strategy across our affiliate and medical spa doors.
This individual will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, merchandising, digital marketing and services, and healthcare professional engagement to maximize sales and drive conversion in an accelerating Aesthetics market.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of D2C levers, P&L management, and a data-driven approach to optimizing the partner-to-consumer journey. You must thrive in ambiguity, embody a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, possess a technical understanding of product architecture. You will collaborate with senior cross-functional partners, including Sales, Marketing, Digital, IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
Job Duties and Accountabilities:
- Develop PartnerShop (e-commerce platform) launch strategy: Define and own the project launch, including go-to-market planning, phased rollout, and commercial targets for SkinCeuticals, Skinbetter Science, and La Roche-Posay.
- Lead B2B Commerce Growth Acceleration: Lead efforts to refine profitable growth, providing strategic direction, developing and implementing initiatives, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and needs to inform the development of the Partnershop product roadmap, focusing on enhancing the customer journey, improving customer lifetime value, and building brand loyalty.
- Improve Operational Excellence: Lead the development and implementation of a Operational Excellence to drive and measure performance across the B2B e-Commerce portfolio.
- Scale Insights to Action: Analyze Commerce performance (ie. product, promo, traffic, inventory) to identify revenue opportunities, diagnose challenges, and develop solutions that optimize ways of working, close operational gaps, and inform enhanced capabilities.
- Foster Collaborative Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across divisions, functions, and global teams to align strategies and ensure effective execution.
What We Are Looking For: - 5+ years of progressive experience in D2C eCommerce and Commercial strategy, demonstrating a proven track record of driving growth and profitability. Deep understanding of eCommerce and Sales KPIs, growth levers, performance optimization strategies, and the digital landscape. Strong commercial acumen with experience owning P&L or revenue targets
- Deep understanding of B2B e-commerce dynamics, including platform operations, professional audience segmentation, and digital merchandising. Experience launching platforms in an omnichannel environment (online and field sales integration).
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar enterprise e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in using data, technology, and customer feedback to inform decision-making, answer business questions, identify pain points, create projections, and develop actionable business plans.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels, build trust, and lead presentations to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple responsibilities and workstreams with attention to detail, and execute effectively under pressure while adapting to change and ambiguity. Strong project-management skills.
- Entrepreneurial drive, self-starter mindset, strong bias for action, and a passion for building businesses and making a concrete impact.
- Prior experience in dermatology, aesthetics, skincare, or pharmaceutical space preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
What's In It For You: - Salary Range: 138,500 - 200,800 Base Salary (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
