The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head, Medical Product & Marketing this role is responsible for leading the Medical Brands and Trade Marketing function, with a primary focus on sales enablement, product marketing, asset development, and global brand consistency across the Spectrum Therapeutics and medical brand portfolio.

Canada serves as the global hub for medical marketing, and this role will establish and scale globally aligned brand frameworks, product positioning, and commercial tools to support regional teams while ensuring consistency, compliance, and commercial impact.

This role serves as the voice of the customer and ensures that all product positioning, materials, and activation tactics clearly communicate differentiation and value to drive sales growth across clinics, HCPs, and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development and governance of global medical brand frameworks under Spectrum Therapeutics

  • Establish consistent positioning, messaging, and visual identity guidelines across all markets

  • Develop and maintain brand and product guidebooks to support global execution and alignment

  • Partner with global and regional teams to ensure scalable adoption of brand standards

  • Lead product marketing strategy across the medical portfolio, ensuring clear, compelling differentiation in market

  • Define and translate product value propositions, claims, and positioning into actionable tools for the field

  • Develop and operationalize product narratives and programs (e.g., product guarantees, quality claims such as Flower Freshness)

  • Ensure consistent execution of product positioning across all sales channels, collateral, and touchpoints

  • Own development of trade marketing strategy and materials to support sales activation across clinics, HCPs, and commercial channels

  • Deliver best-in-class sales collateral, product tools, and activation kits to enable field effectiveness

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure materials are aligned to commercial priorities and field needs

  • Support field execution by ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact of marketing materials in-market

  • Lead end-to-end development of medical marketing assets and collateral across products and therapy areas

  • Oversee asset lifecycle management, ensuring content is current, compliant, and aligned to product strategy

  • Ensure strong governance over content quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance

  • Align asset creation to support both global scalability and local market needs

  • Serve as the central voice of the customer (HCPs, patients, clinics, stakeholders)

  • Translate insights into actionable improvements in product positioning, messaging, and sales tools

  • Assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet needs to inform strategy and differentiation

  • Act as the connector between global strategy and local execution, ensuring alignment across markets

  • Lead and develop a high-performing brand and trade marketing team

  • Provide coaching, direction, and performance management to drive results

  • Establish clear processes and ways of working to enable efficient, high-quality output

Experience & Skills
  • 6+ years in brand management, product marketing, trade marketing, or commercial marketing roles

  • Proven experience building and scaling product positioning and differentiation in market

  • Strong expertise in sales enablement, field marketing, and HCP engagement

  • Experience developing global toolkits, brand frameworks, and commercial assets

  • Background in healthcare, pharma, cannabis, or other regulated industries preferred

  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience

This is a full-time remote position based in Canada

Salary range - $130,000 - $152,000
