Job Description:
  • Assessing client's briefing and category dynamics, and developing a customized strategy to use media to help solve the client's challenge(s)
  • Utilize all available resources (syndicated, proprietary & historical) to actively lead development of integrated, data-driven media strategy and channel mix, recognizing the unique strengths of both Traditional & Digital media channels working together to accomplish brand marketing goals
  • Evaluate the following dynamics, and how they play a role in determining a winning strategy:
    • Geographic/Market Level nuances
    • Which audiences represent the greatest source of revenue
    • Coordination of promotion to Healthcare Professionals and Consumers/Patients
    • Content needs to change behavior
    • Broad vs. precision targeting
  • Understanding how to identify and prioritize different high value audiences, and use data to effectively develop strategies to find them with greater proficiency
  • Engage with Data & Analytics team to develop and support strategic recommendations grounded in data, with an understanding of how to pull through into planning approach and in-market execution
  • Coordinate and work cohesively with other Subject Matter Experts (e.g. - Search, Social, Analytics), as well as Account teams during plan development process for existing clients, and when supporting new business
  • Be prepared to attend and present media assignments and recommendations in live meetings with clients, including existing clients and potential new business.

  • Represent Solve(d) media team during New Business assignments, including the ability to craft a succinct and compelling story in PowerPoint that summarizes agency's media strategy and approach to the challenges posed in the assignment


Skills:
  • High degree of comfort and confidence in new business situations and engagement with senior agency staff and clients
  • Effective in using syndicated and proprietary data to uncover target and behavioral insights that drive well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Experience working with media-vendor community and an understanding of publisher offerings and buying models is important, though this position will not require detailed tactical planning & buying.
  • Experience in developing thoughtful, insight-driven and integrated media and measurement strategy to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Worked across multiple therapeutic categories and patient types, understanding strategic nuances of planning for broad conditions/populations vs. rare disease.
  • Skilled at applying learnings and best practices from one client, to another situation - effectively drawing and communicating parallels, and adapting for new circumstances

  • Effective in collaborating with multiple internal agency disciplines and stakeholders to communicate vision, inspire creativity and answer client needs in an integrated, cohesive voice.
  • Direct the development of client presentations and other important communications that are clear, compelling, and persuasive.
  • Effective in taking information from disparate sources, while listening to input and feedback from different stakeholders, to make informed and well-thought conclusions.
  • Ability to adapt communication for the situation and audience, whether that includes details step-by-step overview of process and considerations, or concise executive summaries.


$130,000 - $170,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
