What you will be doing:
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing, communications, and partnership strategy aligned with business objectives, luxury positioning, and revenue goals.
  • Create integrated campaigns that drive demand across guestrooms, meetings and events, weddings, restaurants and bars, spa, wellness, and other revenue-generating experiences.
  • Champion the Fairmont Pacific Rim brand through compelling storytelling that showcases the hotel's design, culinary excellence, wellness offerings, art program, and distinctive guest experiences.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships while identifying new opportunities with luxury, fashion, art, travel, wellness, culinary, and lifestyle brands that strengthen brand awareness and commercial performance.
  • Lead signature activations, product launches, VIP experiences, and media events that reinforce the hotel's position as a leader in luxury hospitality.
  • Oversee creative direction across digital, social, website, photography, video, advertising, and print, ensuring brand consistency across every guest touchpoint.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, creators, tourism organizations, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage annual marketing and partnership budgets, measure campaign performance and ROI, and identify opportunities through market trends, guest insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Serve as the hotel's communications lead, supporting media relations and crisis communications as part of the Crisis Management Team.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, Spa, Events, Operations, and regional marketing teams to deliver integrated commercial strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the Marketing & Partnerships team while fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, partnerships, or brand management within luxury hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
  • Proven success developing integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing strategic partnerships with luxury brands and high-profile organizations.
  • Strong understanding of luxury branding, consumer behaviour, experiential marketing, public relations, and media relations.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, social media, website management, and campaign analytics.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and performance measurement.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching high-performing teams.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with CRM and marketing platforms is an asset.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as business needs require.
