Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director, Managed Care Analyti.

In this role, the successful candidate serves as the enterprise leader responsible for maximizing the strategic value of the organizations contract management and reimbursement analytics platform. This role functions as the executive subject matter expert for Experian Contract Manager and is accountable for ensuring payer agreements are accurately modeled, operationalized, monitored, and leveraged to optimize reimbursement performance across the health system. The role is responsible for translating contractual agreements into actionable financial intelligence, identifying reimbursement opportunities, and mitigating contractual risk.

Job Responsibilities:

Enterprise Contract Management Strategy
  • Establish and lead the organizations long-term strategy for contract management, reimbursement analytics, and contract performance monitoring.
  • Serve as the executive owner and strategic advisor for Experian Contract Manager and related reimbursement intelligence platforms.
  • Develop governance frameworks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability across contract modeling and maintenance activities.
  • Align contract management capabilities with organizational financial, operational, and managed care objectives.

Experian Platform Leadership
  • Provide executive oversight for all aspects of Experian Contract Manager utilization, optimization, enhancement, and expansion.
  • Define strategic priorities and system capabilities that improve visibility into reimbursement performance and payer compliance.
  • Partner with Information Technology and Revenue Cycle leadership to establish platform roadmaps and future-state capabilities.
  • Evaluate opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, workflow optimization, and advanced contract intelligence.

Contract Performance & Revenue Optimization
  • Lead development of enterprise contract performance monitoring programs that measure payer adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Establish methodologies to identify underpayments, reimbursement variances, contractual violations, and revenue leakage.
  • Develop executive-level reporting that quantifies contract yield, payment accuracy, financial risk, and reimbursement opportunities.
  • Partner with Managed Care leadership to evaluate proposed contract terms and model anticipated financial impact.
  • Develop monitoring and audit programs designed to proactively identify contractual non-compliance and protect organizational revenue.
  • Lead the process of comparing Experian expected versus EPIC expected to identify and correct discrepancies

Strategic Advisory & Executive Partnership
  • Serve as the organizations primary advisor on contract interpretation, reimbursement methodologies, and contract performance analytics.
  • Provide executive leadership with actionable insights regarding payer performance, reimbursement trends, and contractual risk.
  • Support contract negotiation strategies through financial modeling, reimbursement analysis, and market intelligence.
  • Influence enterprise decision-making through data-driven recommendations and strategic financial analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree . Professional Certifications / Registration: Indicate special certifications that are required or preferred for the position 7 -10 years Experience in a Managed Care related environment, either provider or third party payor. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and meet goals and adhere to deadlines. Knowledge of all facets of Hospital and physician billing and operations.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $152,240.27 - $262,614.25 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
