Job DescriptionSUMMARY The
Director, Lease Administration directs the delivery of lease administration activities and ensures service delivery meets objectives, collaborates with relevant concerned parties on related matters including providing input into portfolio strategy and optimization, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifies opportunity areas to optimize lease administration processes and tools. Leads the review, development, implementation and improvement of policies, processes, tools/technologies and resources.
- Service Delivery: Directs service delivery of lease administration services for assigned account(s). Ensures service delivery meets established key performance indicators and all client obligations are met.
- Client Relationship Management: Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients. Proactively anticipates and mitigates potential issues. Resolves issues escalated by staff.
- Project Delivery: Directs the delivery of lease administration-related projects for assigned account(s) and is accountable for on-time, on-budget and successful project completion.
- People Leadership: Directs lease administration team members for assigned account(s). Accountable for people-oriented functions including but not limited to performance management, career development, recruitment and retention, employee engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - University graduation or professional certification (e.g. P. Eng, CMA, CGA or equivalent courses)
- More than five years up to ten years of job-related experience
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading portfolio strategy and optimization initiatives
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to achieve ongoing operational excellence. Ability to proactively identify opportunity areas and provide direction for continuous improvement.
- Proven ability and experience in managing and developing client relationships.
- Strong relationship management, communication, influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading and managing change and transitions.
- Proven ability to collaborate and engage relevant concerned parties to achieve desired results.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- Real Property Administrator Designation an asset Facility Management Administration Designation, an asset
- P.Eng, CMA or CGA is an asset
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
