The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of IT Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations at DTCC, your purpose is to provide best in class and versatile security services to the enterprises. As a Director in Cybersecurity Operations and Engineering, you will be responsible for the guidance and oversight of the services the team provides. Maturing and optimizing while driving the team toward excellence in engineering, innovation, and implementation of best-in-class security solutions will be the primary focus. The result will be an obsession of bringing the best of security solutions to protect the DTCC assets and systems.

This role is an Individual Contributor role. You will be a lead for the design and implementation of critical IAM shared services, working with the IAM leadership and engineering teams.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the senior technical advisor and subject matter expert for Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM), driving the strategy, roadmap, and adoption of identity security capabilities across DTCC.
  • Partner with business, security, engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams to design and deliver scalable identity solutions that address regulatory, operational, and cybersecurity requirements while improving user experience and control effectiveness.
  • Influence the direction, prioritization, and evolution of IGA and PAM services by identifying capability gaps, emerging security risks, technology opportunities, and industry trends, translating them into actionable solution recommendations and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the definition of reference architectures, design standards, integration patterns, and best practices that ensure secure and consistent implementation of identity governance, access controls, privileged access management, and identity lifecycle processes.
  • Evaluate new technologies, vendor solutions, and architectural approaches to strengthen DTCC's identity security posture, providing technical guidance, risk assessments, and implementation recommendations to senior leadership and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams in backlog refinement, iteration planning, solution design reviews, and technical governance activities to ensure successful delivery of priority initiatives and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Drive compliance, audit readiness, and control effectiveness by partnering with risk, regulatory, and security stakeholders to ensure identity services meet applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior technology and business leaders, communicating technical strategy, architecture decisions, implementation risks, and progress toward key objectives while building alignment across stakeholder groups.
  • Mentor engineers, architects, and technical leads through knowledge sharing, design reviews, and technical coaching, fostering engineering excellence and advancing identity security capabilities across the organization.
  • Represent the IGA and PAM domains in enterprise architecture discussions, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional programs, ensuring identity considerations are incorporated into DTCC's broader technology and security roadmap.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
