Job DescriptionUC Health is seeking a
Director, IT - ERP & Enterprise Business Applications to lead the strategy, delivery, and support of our enterprise business application portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (HCM, SCM, and Financials) and related platforms including Tecsys, Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and workforce management systems such as Time & Attendance, Staffing, and Scheduling.
The Director partners closely with leaders across Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, the PMO, and Digital Health Services to align technology investments with business priorities, drive application modernization, and ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing business systems. This role is responsible for application strategy, governance, integrations, vendor management, operational excellence, and team leadership.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership- Develop and execute the roadmap for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related enterprise business applications.
- Partner with business leaders to align technology solutions with organizational goals and operational priorities.
- Drive application modernization, standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-enabled capabilities, and industry best practices to improve business outcomes.
Business Partnership & Governance- Serve as the primary IT leader for ERP and enterprise business application domains.
- Build strong relationships with executive and operational stakeholders across HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and other business areas.
- Collaborate with the PMO and DHS leadership to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and manage risks and dependencies.
Application Delivery & Operations- Provide leadership for the implementation, enhancement, support, and optimization of Oracle Fusion HCM, SCM, and Financials.
- Oversee Tecsys, Agiloft CLM, and workforce management applications.
- Establish and maintain effective processes for application enhancements, production support, change management, and release management.
- Ensure stable, secure, compliant, and high-performing application operations.
Integration, Data & Vendor Management- Oversee integrations between enterprise business applications and other clinical, financial, workforce, and data platforms.
- Partner with architecture, security, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure scalable and supportable solutions.
- Manage strategic vendor and consulting relationships, budgets, licensing, and resource planning.
People Leadership- Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers, analysts, developers, and application support professionals.
- Build organizational capabilities, succession plans, and technical expertise within the team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer service
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered consistent with organizational requirements.
- 10+ years of progressive Information Technology experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
- 5+ years leading enterprise application, ERP, HRIS, financial, supply chain, or related business application teams.
- Significant experience supporting and leading Oracle ERP environments; Oracle Fusion Cloud experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting multiple Oracle business domains such as HCM, Financials, and SCM.
- Demonstrated experience managing application implementations, enhancements, production support, integrations, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong business relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Leadership experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, SCM, and Financials in a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience with Tecsys or comparable healthcare supply chain/logistics platforms.
- Experience with Agiloft or comparable Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, including contract workflows, integrations, reporting, and ongoing application support.
- Experience with enterprise Time & Attendance, Staffing, Scheduling, or workforce management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, middleware, interface architecture, and data exchange patterns.
- Experience developing and executing ERP/application roadmaps and leading large-scale modernization or transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success building high-performing technical teams and developing leadership talent.
- Experience working with a formal PMO, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data/analytics, and infrastructure/cloud organizations.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, consulting partners, managed services, and contingent workforce resources.
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud transformation, automation, AI-enabled business processes, or digital transformation initiatives.
