Job Title Director, IT & Beauty Tech Communication & Engagement

Division: ITCorporate

Location: New York, New York

Reports To: Vice President Americas CIO Office & Transformation

What You Will Do:

The IT Communications Lead will be responsible for developing and deploying the communications strategy for the IT Americas organization. They will work closely with the IT Leadership team & cross functional teams to identify and communicate key messages to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, and media. The ideal candidate is an innovative and entrepreneurial self-starter with exceptional writing skills, strong detail orientation, and the proven ability to manage a multitude of priorities, and deadlines. This role requires building relationships throughout the Group and collaboration cross-functionally with a variety of internal stakeholders.

Strategy:
  • Partner on the ideation of internal communications programs and events, incorporating business objectives and initiatives tied to the IT Americas vision
  • Manage the implementation of global driven initiatives, strategically tailored to drive a high level of adoption for the IT audience
  • Build relationships with communications partners in the organization, as well as, key stakeholders, to influence alignment and seek opportunities to leverage ideas across teams
  • Drive education and awareness of the function; position IT as a growth enabler to the business, understanding the unique needs of each audience
  • Research competitive best practices and revolutionary approaches to influence the evolution of employee engagement and communication leveraging AI use cases and technology in the workplace
  • Manage priorities + deadlines with resources including external Consultant
  • Lead communications strategy for Americas CIO executive presence in internal and external stages


Employee Messaging:
  • Centralize internal messaging targeting the IT Americas audience to build consistency on tone, frequency and visual voice with consistent Beauty Tech branding
  • Improve audience focused communication, tailoring messaging to drive impact
  • Acting as a resource across domains and functions to advise and align communication planning
  • Measure effectiveness + engagement through surveys, focus groups and metrics to evolve the internal communication strategy, driving 360 degree feedback
  • Oversee the maintenance and evolution of internal reference tools including, but not limited to: distribution lists, communications matrix
  • Manage and execute internal monthly newsletters and events such as Townhalls for the IT Americas audience and IT communications for broader Americas employees.
  • Partner with CA&E across the Zone in North America and Latin America to amplify internal campaigns and for external communications projects
  • Contribute to the global Beauty Tech Communications strategy and execution across the Americas Zone.

  • 7+ years working in a high paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations
  • Experience working in a role relative to internal or corporate communications required
  • Strong knowledge of IT industry and technology trends
  • Experience in B2B and B2C communication
  • Ability to leverage AI and tech tools in the workplace
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish) is a plus
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.
  • Being present in the office three days a week is considered an essential function of all office-based roles for eligible full-time employees.
