Director, Global Internal Communications

Your Opportunity, Your Team

As Director, Internal Communications, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how our 15,000+ team members connect to our strategy, culture, and leadership vision. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the strategy, roll up your sleeves to execute, and work side-by-side with your team to deliver communications that truly make an impact.

You'll report to the VP, Communications and be a trusted partner to the QVC Group executive leadership team, always ready to step in and support executive communications, including with the CEO, or serve as the primary point of contact for the team when needed. You'll orchestrate the communications strategy behind the moments that matter most: major business announcements, transformation updates, culture moments, and the everyday storytelling that keeps our team members informed and engaged.

If you're energized by leading communications at a company going through meaningful transformation, and you want your work to be seen and felt by team members across six brands and multiple continents, keep reading.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester, PA headquarters (Studio Park) several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware. Relocation assistance is available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the global internal communications strategy while staying close to the craft, drafting, editing, and delivering communications across every channel from intranet to town halls

  • Build, motivate, and work alongside a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and shared accountability for results

  • Advise, present, and represent internal communications at the highest levels, ready to support any executive leader during critical moments

  • Ensure every team member understands where QVC Group is headed, what's expected of them, and how their work connects to our shared goals

  • Partner with HR, Brand, and business unit leaders to bring our culture and leadership competencies to life through integrated campaigns and authentic storytelling

  • Continuously modernize the communications toolkit, explore new platforms and formats, and establish KPIs that demonstrate real business impact

  • Lead communications for sensitive or complex moments including organizational changes, transformation milestones, and crisis situations, with sound judgment and discretion

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in team member communications, bringing forward innovative approaches that elevate the employee experience

What You'll Bring

  • 15+ years of communications experience, with significant time leading internal or employee communications at a large, global, complex, consumer-facing organization

  • Proven ability to partner with and counsel C-suite executives, with the presence and judgment to advise in real time during high-stakes moments

  • A hands-on approach: as comfortable developing strategy as you are writing, editing, and executing communications

  • Track record of building and executing internal communications strategies that reach diverse employee populations across corporate, retail, operations, and globally distributed team members

  • Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling messaging

  • Experience leading communications through significant organizational change, transformation, or crisis moments, with the discretion to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Experience leading teams, developing talent, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment

  • Strong business acumen and comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with global stakeholders and cultural nuance

  • Fluency with modern communications channels and tools, including intranets, employee apps, video content, and measurement platforms

  • Leads with humility and curiosity, eager to listen and understand the existing culture and ways of working before driving change, and skilled at building on momentum rather than starting from scratch

  • Highly agile and resilient, able to pivot quickly and model calm and clarity in ambiguous, fast-changing environments

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus
