Position Overview:Provides executive leadership for a large-scale imaging service line, overseeing technology strategy, capital planning, operational performance, growth initiatives, and vendor partnerships across a multi-site healthcare system. This leader is responsible for guiding major imaging investments, equipment standardization, facility and construction projects, operational improvement efforts, and enterprise-wide technology roadmaps while partnering closely with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
Leads a team of imaging leaders and supports talent development, succession planning, and workforce effectiveness. Success requires a combination of healthcare operations expertise, financial and capital planning acumen, project governance experience, strong executive presence, and the ability to influence physicians, executives, and external partners to drive enterprise results.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:- Graduate of an accredited radiology school or accredited Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, and/or Radiation Oncology program
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:- 12 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:- Demonstrates knowledge of and experience with diagnostic imaging operations in acute and non-acute settings.
- Working knowledge and thorough understanding of state/federal/local and/or accreditation standards and requirements as it relates to operations and organization, with the ability interpret and implement applicable standards and requirements.
- Knowledge of emerging treads and regulatory changes, and how it impacts operations.
- Solid understanding of operations and workflows, and how department's process/workflow impacts other department operations.
- Understands business and operational requirements, demonstrating ability to design and establish goals to meet long and short- term objectives.
- Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.
- Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and leaders to achieve business objectives.
- Collaboration skills to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various stakeholders.

- Working knowledge of wage and hour laws.

Pay Range is $181,875.20 to $291,012.80 / annual salary. Bay Area Pay Range is $227,385.00 to $363,792.00 / annual salary.
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
