About the role
As Director, Image Analysis & Radiopharmaceutical Therapy, you will provide integrated scientific and management leadership across imaging-driven clinical trials, providing scientific guidance on development of modelling, analysis design, results interpretation and dosimetry techniques to clinical trials. You are accountable for both the scientific integrity and end-to-end delivery of image analysis data supporting multi-center trials, including Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RPT) and advanced imaging modalities such as PET/SPECT and MRI. This role combines scientific leadership and oversight with functional and people management responsibility to ensure consistent, high-quality data delivery, robust methodology, and operational excellence aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific Leadership Responsibilities
- Act as the functional scientific authority for imaging and quantitative analysis methodologies, particularly in Radiopharmaceutical Therapy.
- Act as the senior external scientific interface for sponsors and key stakeholders, providing critical scientific input and guidance for interactions with sponsors regarding analysis design and results interpretation.
- Provide scientific leadership and authoritative scientific judgement on complex, high-risk clinical trials utilizing medical imaging and clinical data.
- Author, review, and approve scientific documentation including imaging guidelines, charters, and results summaries.
- Oversee the development and oversight of quantitative image analysis and dosimetry workflows.
- Ensure scientific rigor, regulatory readiness, and methodological consistency across Image Analysis studies.
Image Analysis Delivery & Operational Excellence- Hold ultimate accountability for holistic image analysis data delivery across relevant programs and portfolios.
- Define and enforce standards, SOPs, quality frameworks, and delivery models for Image Analysis within the organisation.
- Set delivery performance expectations and monitor outcomes through leading seniorlevel functional governance forums.
- Resolve escalated scientific, quality, or delivery risks.
- Partner crossfunctionally to ensure scalable, compliant delivery models align to agreed business priorities.
- Provide coaching and support to team for clientinteractions, including capabilitiespresentations, scientific & medical services support, and data presentation/interpretation.
- Ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality data outputs.
People & Functional Leadership- Lead and shape a high-performing global Image Analysis function, providing direction to Mangers, Scientist and Analyst teams, establishing clear accountability.
- Provide line management, coaching, and performance management for team members.
- Build and sustain a high-performing, engaged and diverse Image Analysis and Scientific organization with skills aligned to the business strategy and growth.
- Allocate resources effectively across a dynamic portfolio.
- Develop future scientific and operational leaders.
- Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and talent development.
- Ensure succession planning andskillsreadiness for critical roles.
- Provide insight and develop business cases to support financial planning and decisionmaking for investment priorities, capacity planning, and resourcing discussions.
Stakeholder Relationship Management- Serve as the primary scientific and delivery point of contact for external stakeholders for Image Analysis and RPT capabilities.
- Translate scientific and operational requirements into executable strategies.
- Lead scientific consultation, delivery assurance discussions, issue resolution, and interpretation of results.
- Translate scientific and operational requirements into executable approaches.
- Facilitates business decision-making processes.
- Represent Image Analysis and RPT capabilities in internal governance, prioritization, planning and strategic forums.

Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills)
- Demonstrable knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging.
- Demonstrable knowledge ofrelevant scientificterminology and practices.
- Proven understanding of research methodologies and pragmatic application in a regulated environment.
- Technical proficiency in image analysis and associated software platforms.
- Proven ability in other software packages (Microsoft Office, Matlab, etc).

Experience, Education, and Certifications
- Significant demonstrable experience in both academic and/or industrial instrumentation/image processing environments.
- Demonstrable experience in image analysis; key focus on modelling and dosimetry techniques.
- Proven line management and leadership ability in the same or similar role.
- Solid proven experience of working in and knowledge of medical imaging or clinical development in the life sciences industry.
- Experience usingboth knowledge andtools to communicate progress to Stakeholdersand credibly represent the business.
- Bachelor's Degree(Medical degree/ PhD)in aquantitative field, ideally
- in nuclear medicine, physics, biophysics or biomedical engineering,or equivalent project-related experience.
- English: Fluent.
This role is remote. Candidates located inAZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, NH, NJ, NC, PA, UT, VA are preferred. The annual base salary range for this role is $148,067- $211,523. This range represents the anticipated initial annual salary and will vary depending on several factors including the candidates experience and skills as well as market rate adjustment.
