As a member of the Global Transaction Banking HR leadership team, you will advise senior leaders on workforce strategy and execution, leveraging HR Communities of Expertise (COEs) and HR Solutions to deliver scalable, enterprise-aligned outcomes. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Own the Global Transaction Banking people strategy and annual HR priorities, aligning workforce plans to business strategy and translating them into measurable outcomes (capacity, capability, engagement, performance, and retention)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on organization effectiveness, leadership capability, talent, culture, employee relations, and change
  • Establish a strong people governance and operating cadence (e.g., workforce planning, talent reviews, succession, engagement, key metrics), bringing forward insights and partnering with COEs to deliver solutions
  • Shape and execute organization design and change agendas, including growth and transformation initiatives, ensuring strong adoption and leader readiness
  • Champion the HR operating model, ensuring seamless partnership with HR Solutions and COEs while resolving complex matters with strong judgment
  • Build leadership and people management capability through coaching and enabling leaders to strengthen performance, engagement, inclusion, and accountability
  • Maintain a strong understanding of GTB priorities, market dynamics, and competitive trends, feeding insights into HR strategy and continuous improvement
  • Embed a strong risk and controls mindset in people decisions, ensuring adherence to regulatory and conduct expectations
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing HR team, building succession and fostering an inclusive environment aligned to the Bank's purpose and values

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including operating at the Director level supporting senior executives in a large, complex organization
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and coach leaders at all levels
  • Proven people leadership capability, including leading through ambiguity, managing complex employee relations matters, and navigating conflict with sound judgment
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect HR strategies to P&L, productivity, growth, and risk outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, deliver at pace, and simplify complex problems into clear recommendations and actions
  • Strong risk, governance, and conduct orientation, with the ability to assess people-related issues and regulatory implications
  • Experience leading enterprise or portfolio-level change initiatives, including stakeholder management, communications, and adoption planning
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across functions and geographies, working effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Strong workforce analytics capability, using data to generate insights and drive decision-making
  • Ability to leverage HR tools and COE programs to deliver the HR and change components of business strategies
  • Comfort operating with both quantitative and qualitative inputs, translating insights into practical actions
  • Spanish language capability is considered a strong asset

What's in it for you?
