Director, HR Operations for the Laboratory Chemicals Division, you will serve as a strategic HR business partner to senior leadership, translating business priorities into people strategies that enable growth, strengthen organizational effectiveness and build a high-performing culture.
Working within a complex, global matrix organization, you will partner with leaders to shape and execute strategies across talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, engagement and retention. You will play a key role in organizational transformation and change while building effective teams aligned with our
4i Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
You will also lead critical HR processes, including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews and total rewards. Using strong business acumen, workforce analytics and data-driven insights, you will identify opportunities to strengthen organizational capabilities, enhance the employee experience and deliver sustainable business results.
In this role, you will:- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning and change management initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness.
- Coach and influence leaders on talent, performance, employee relations, succession planning and leadership effectiveness.
- Drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain exceptional talent.
- Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Leverage workforce data and insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Lead core HR processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and total rewards.
- Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR solutions within a complex matrix organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, bringing sound judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes and organizational effectiveness.
QualificationsEducation & Experience- Advanced degree with 6+ years of progressive HR experience, or bachelor's degree with 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field preferred.
- PHR, SPHR or equivalent professional HR certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a strategic HR business partner supporting senior and executive leadership.
- Experience leading organizational transformation, change management and talent initiatives.
- Labor relations experience preferred.
Knowledge & Capabilities- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into actionable people solutions.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing talent management, succession and leadership development strategies.
- Proven ability to influence and drive results across global, cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Strong coaching and consultation skills with experience advising leaders at multiple levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation and executive-influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to use workforce insights to inform decisions.
- Experience with HR technology, analytics and process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse teams, cultures and perspectives while managing multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $160,100.00-$213,400.00.
