About the Role:

The Hospice Clinical Services Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the quality of clinical care provided to members receiving hospice services. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a compassionate, person-centered care environment. The director collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices that improve member outcomes and support family needs. They also lead clinical staff development, performance evaluation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care. Ultimately, this role ensures that hospice services are delivered with dignity, respect, and clinical excellence across all care settings within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in hospice or palliative care settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing clinical teams in a healthcare environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and accreditation standards.
  • Strong understanding of interdisciplinary care models and end-of-life care best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing (CHPN) or equivalent specialty certification.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical data analytics.
  • Proven success in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.
  • Familiarity with community outreach and person advocacy in hospice care.
