Director, Health Plan Solutions (Remote)

Location (Remote with Travel: East or South East Region Preferred)

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Director, Health Plan Solutions to join the Payor Relations team. The position will be responsible for:

  • Implement strategic sales plans developed by senior management to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities and contribute to action plans to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Understand customer needs, address concerns, and provide effective solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to forecast future sales trends and opportunities. Provide regular and accurate sales reports to the senior sales manager, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Attend regular sales training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development to improve overall sales effectiveness.
  • Follow and refine the established sales process to maximize efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices and sales methodologies to streamline operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use market insights to identify competitive advantages and position the company's products/services effectively.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations, pitches, and sales collateral. Effectively communicate the value proposition and unique selling points of the company's offerings.
  • Assist in negotiations with clients and close sales deals. Ensure contract compliance and support the negotiation process to secure favorable agreements for the company.
  • Participate in performance metrics and evaluation systems to assess individual sales performance. Receive constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of prospects and opportunities. Prioritize leads and opportunities for optimal conversion rates.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in sales, with a demonstrable record of achieving or surpassing sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Durable Medical Equipment Industry and its related products/services is preferred, but exceptional candidates from diverse backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, present compelling sales pitches, and negotiate effectively.
  • Natural ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, with a focus on maintaining long-term relationships.
