Responsibilities Clive Behavioral Health Clive Behavioral Health opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources.
Qualifications POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Health Information Management Services is responsible for assuring that records are kept confidential, secure, current, authenticated, legible, and complete. Records and informational content must be safeguarded against loss, defacement, and tampering, as well as from use by unauthorized individuals. Provide services necessary for prompt retrieval of information, both clinical (diagnosis codes) and statistical (admissions, etc.). Provide for transcription of clinical dictation and utilization review for third party payors. Oversees release of information within state and federal confidentiality guidelines. Serve as HIPAA Security Officer, assuring the ongoing management of information policy, procedure and technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all facility information systems.
QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field required.
Experience: T wo (2) years experience in a supervisory / managerial role in health information management and ICD-10 Coding preferred.
Licensure: RHIA or RHIT Certification
