Full Job Description
Responsible for leading growth marketing strategies that drive demand, increase Voya's owned media share of voice, and accelerate high-performing marketing campaigns. This role will focus on building always-on, conversion-oriented digital programs that strengthen awareness, engagement, and measurable business growth across Voya-owned channels. The Director will partner closely with Marketing Strategy, Distribution, Sales, Product, Data, and Technology teams to design and execute integrated growth marketing programs across owned, earned, and paid media. The role is accountable for maximizing demand generation, digital traffic quality, campaign effectiveness, and conversion performance, while ensuring marketing investment is tied directly to measurable business outcomes. This role serves as a hands-on leader and change agent, elevating growth marketing capabilities, improving campaign performance, and building a high-performing team grounded in demand generation, accountability, and continuous optimization. Key Responsibilities - Establish and lead Growth Marketing that defines standards, best practices, and execution models for digital and direct-response marketing - Drive organizational change from episodic, launch-based marketing to always-on, performance-driven campaign execution - Design and optimize end-to-end digital customer journeys across acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention - Apply best-in-class digital marketing practices including personalization, behavioral targeting, A/B testing, and test-and-learn methodologies to improve conversion efficiency - Own campaign-driven website performance, including discoverability, engagement, and conversion optimization - Partner with IT, Strategy, and Creative Sevices teams to align UX, content, SEO, and personalization with campaign and growth objectives - Develop, operationalize, and scale account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting priority segments and high-value accounts - Partner closely with Sales and Distribution to deliver targeted, personalized digital experiences that drive higher conversion and pipeline contribution - Leverage CRM and customer data to enable targeted, personalized, and timely marketing execution across channels - Establish and maintain clear, credible marketing attribution that connects campaign activity to engagement, conversion, pipeline, and business outcomes - Translate performance data into actionable insights and recommendations to continuously improve campaign effectiveness - Coordinate integrated campaign execution across owned, earned, and paid media, ensuring cohesive messaging and sequencing - Optimize channel mix and investment decisions using performance data and attribution insights - Build, lead, and develop a high-performing campaign and digital marketing team - Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement while building modern skills in direct response, CRM execution, and analytics Knowledge & Experience - 8-10+ years of experience leading digital, direct-response, or performance-focused marketing programs - Demonstrated experience operating Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, ABM initiatives, or always-on marketing models - Strong expertise in digital marketing tools, CRM-based marketing, marketing attribution, and performance measurement - Excellent hands-on digital marketing experience across web, email, paid media, and personalization - 5+ years of people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate teams - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear business insights - High degree of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail - Background in e-commerce a plus - Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred #LI-KD1 Compensation Pay Disclosure: Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
