Director, Graduate Admissions & Recruiting

Xavier University is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and student-centered Director of Graduate Recruitment & Admissions to join the Graduate Recruitment & Admissions team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an enrollment professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping prospective graduate students discover educational opportunities aligned with their personal and professional goals.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own and execute recruitment efforts for assigned graduate programs, directly engage prospective students throughout the enrollment journey, build meaningful relationships with campus partners, and use insights to improve enrollment outcomes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director, Graduate Recruitment & Admissions will:
• Lead recruitment efforts for assigned graduate programs by engaging prospective students, managing enrollment pipelines, and supporting achievement of graduate enrollment goals.
• Build strong partnerships with faculty, program directors, and university stakeholders to understand program value, support recruitment efforts, and strengthen graduate program growth.
• Use enrollment data, recruitment trends, and student insights to identify opportunities, improve processes, and support informed decision-making.
• Partner with Marketing & Communications, Financial Aid, Admissions Operations, and Student Success teams to create a coordinated and student-centered graduate enrollment experience.
• Lead, coach, and support recruitment team members while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and student-focused team culture.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in graduate admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, higher education administration, or a related field.
• Experience developing and executing recruitment strategies, managing enrollment pipelines, and using data to support decisions.
• Experience leading teams, coaching staff, and collaborating effectively across departments or functional areas.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and enrollment reporting tools preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and contribute within a collaborative environment.
• Ability to travel and participate in occasional evening or weekend recruitment activities.
