Job Description:What will you work on? You will be responsible for strategically planning and procuring inventory to meet global market demand while optimizing inventory turns and working capital. In this role, you will directly manage the North American supply planning team while driving worldwide alignment on capacity planning, global allocations, and inventory management. You will lead the evolution of the global S&OP process and partner with cross-functional teams to implement scalable planning systems, primarily leveraging SAP and IBP.
How will you create impact? - Direct and develop the North American supply planning team while driving global standardization on supply capacity planning, global allocations, and inventory management.
- Collaborate extensively with Asia planning teams and regional supply teams in Europe, Australia, and Mexico to ensure cohesive global supply execution.
- Oversee supply planning functions, converting demand plans into master production schedules and procurement plans to resolve supply constraints.
- Lead the Global S&OP Supply Alignment meetings and co-lead the global S&OP cycle, presenting capacity constraints and proposed solutions to senior leadership.
- Partner with Product Development and Sourcing to identify supply gaps, align on product allocation processes, and drive risk-mitigation strategies.
- Drive the global monthly buy proposal, managing the executive sign-off process and distributing monthly alignment materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain systems, tools, and processes to increase efficiency, support future business integrations, and enhance customer service.
What are your skills and experience? - Proven track record of progressive leadership in supply chain, with deep expertise in global supply planning, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team of professional supply planners.
- Expertise leading or playing a critical role in formal Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and managing Master Production Scheduling (MPS) across complex supply networks.
- Strong technical proficiency and hands-on experience utilizing SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) software.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of optimizing inventory turns, working capital, and customer fill rates.
- Prior experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), fashion, retail, or the toy industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline (an MBA is considered an asset).

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $140,000 to $179,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
