Full Job Description
As Director, Global Product Management at ASM, you will define and lead the product and portfolio strategy for PECVD. This role is accountable for driving long-term technology direction, product roadmaps, and business performance across a critical growth area for ASM.

You will operate as a key member of the global product leadership team - aligning R&D, operations, and commercial functions - while building and leading a high-performing product management organization. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on ASM's PECVD market position, customer engagement strategy, and growth trajectory.

What You Will Be Working On

Portfolio & Product Strategy
  • Own the global PECVD product portfolio strategy, aligning with ASM's broader deposition roadmap and market inflections
  • Define multi-year technology and product strategies to capture growth across logic, foundry, memory, and advanced packaging


Leadership & Organization
  • Build, lead, and develop a global team of product managers across the PECVD portfolio
  • Drive organizational scalability, talent development, and a strong execution culture


Product Lifecycle & Business Ownership
  • Hold accountability for full product lifecycle performance (concept 12 HVM 12 obsolescence), including revenue, margin, and market share
  • Ensure strong execution of new product introductions (NPI) and platform evolution across PECVD systems


Customer & Market Leadership
  • Establish senior-level relationships with key global customers, driving strategic technical and commercial engagement
  • Lead customer-driven roadmap alignment, incorporating device inflections and integration challenges


Roadmap & Innovation
  • Define and maintain PECVD product roadmaps informed by customer collaboration, competitive positioning, and technology trends
  • Partner with R&D to translate emerging requirements into differentiated product capabilities


Business Planning & Financial Ownership
  • Own business case development (NPV, IRR) and portfolio-level financial performance
  • Lead forecasting, long-range planning, and contribution to operating plans


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as executive sponsor across Product Development, Operations, Service, and Commercial teams to drive alignment and execution
  • Partner with suppliers and external ecosystem to enable next-generation capabilities and cost competitiveness


Go-to-Market & Strategic Marketing
  • Define positioning and value propositions for PECVD solutions across applications and customer segments
  • Oversee Market Requirement Specifications (MRS), competitive analysis, and executive-level messaging
