Full Job Description
Siemens is expanding its strategic technology presence in Silicon Valley. Reporting to the SVP of Technology Partnerships and Enterprise Strategy, the Director, Global Strategic Partnership - AWS will own and advance Siemens' global relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This leader will define and execute the partnership strategy, translating shared ambitions into measurable business outcomes across artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, industrial edge, data platforms, cybersecurity, digital twins, enterprise applications, and industrial technology.

Working across Siemens' businesses, regions, and corporate functions, the Director will identify opportunities where Siemens and AWS can innovate, build, and grow together. The role will connect AWS's technology portfolio, global customer reach, and partner ecosystem with Siemens' strategic priorities-creating scalable solutions, commercial opportunities, and long-term competitive advantage.

This is a highly visible leadership role at the intersection of corporate strategy, technology innovation, product development, and commercial execution. Success will be measured through business impact, accelerated innovation, effective cross-company alignment, and sustainable growth resulting from the Siemens-AWS partnership.

You'll Make an Impact By
  • Owning Siemens' global strategic relationship with AWS and serving as the primary executive point of contact across the partnership.
  • Building trusted relationships with AWS executives, industry leaders, product organizations, engineering teams, partner leadership, and field organizations.
  • Defining and executing a multi-year partnership strategy aligned with the priorities and growth objectives of both Siemens and AWS.
  • Identifying high-value partnership opportunities and connecting AWS technologies and capabilities with the appropriate Siemens businesses and functions.
  • Leading joint opportunities from concept and executive alignment through commercial structuring, solution development, go-to-market execution, and global scaling.

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, business development, corporate development, platform strategy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling complex partnerships with major global technology companies.
  • Experience working with cloud, AI, data, cybersecurity, IoT, industrial edge, enterprise software, or digital transformation platforms.
  • Experience operating effectively within large, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results through influence.
  • Experience engaging senior executives and managing high-value external relationships.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology markets, partner ecosystems, cloud consumption models, and platform businesses.
  • Ability to translate complex technologies into strategic priorities, scalable solutions, and commercial opportunities.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience in industrial technology, infrastructure, enterprise software, digital transformation, or applied AI.
  • Technical and commercial fluency across AWS cloud infrastructure, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, data and analytics, IoT, edge computing, cybersecurity, digital twins, and AWS Marketplace.
  • Experience structuring and scaling global cloud, AI, data, or platform alliances.
  • Familiarity with AWS's organization, technology portfolio, partner ecosystem, field structure, and go-to-market model.
  • Experience developing integrated solutions, co-innovation programs, marketplace offerings, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Experience working at the intersection of corporate strategy, product development, technology, sales, and commercial execution.
  • Experience managing cloud-related commercial models, including consumption growth, marketplace transactions, and co-selling.
  • Experience informing build, buy, and partner decisions.
  • Established relationships within AWS or its broader technology ecosystem.

The pay range for this position is $214,000 - $366,000 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
