Role Overview

The Director - Financials Systems lead and optimize financial systems, month-end close, general ledger operations, reporting, and internal controls by partnering across Finance, IT, and operational teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, process efficiency, automation, and informed decision-making throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integrity, efficiency, and strategic advancement of all financial systems and the control environment, ensuring accurate, compliant data to support high-quality decision making while driving technology enabled improvements across core financial operations, quality decision-making enabled improvements across core financial operations-quality decision-making -enabled improvements across core financial operations.

  • Partner with departments across the organization to understand reporting needs, develop and refine financial reports, and ensure system outputs support business operations. Act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and operational teams to improve data visibility, strengthen reporting quality, and support informed decision-making.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying and monitoring key performance metrics, implementing new technologies and automation, and leading financial system upgrades or transitions. Partner with IT, Mission Support, People & Culture, and other teams to streamline workflows, enhance data integrity, and improve the overall efficiency and transparency of financial operations

Minimum

Certifications and Licensure
  • Minimum: CPA Candidate
  • Preferred: CPA or CMA
