Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Director Finance at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbus, Indiana. This position is responsible for the financial reporting, including regulatory reporting, for the Credit Union. This position provides informed advice to management regarding financial performance, financial risk, and potential strategic & tactical direction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.- Prepares monthly financial performance analyses. Distributes completed analyses to other relevant members of management and Centra Team, using experience of banking industry to place findings of the analysis in appropriate context.
- Prepares the financial sections of the monthly Board of Directors packet. Thoroughly reviews for data integrity and ensures timely posting to the Board.
- Assesses financial risk to the organization of various strategies and potential new initiatives; collaborating with third-party partners, other Team Members and Sr. Management to convey impact. Partners with SVP Finance to monitor liquidity and interest rate risk appropriately across products and balance sheet classes.
- Oversees profitability across all levels (branch, cost center, product, & Member). Communicates directly with Line of Business leaders to convey findings and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for regulatory reporting, including the Call Report, Public Funds, and Blanket Collateral quarterly submissions
- Plays a key role in the annual budgeting process, collaborating with Team Members across the organization to project financial performance.
- Assists with investment program functions, including transaction execution support and investment classification
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED): - Bachelor's Degree in Related Field
- Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
