Job Summary The Director, Field Capability reports to the Vice President, Learning and Development. This role leads the team responsible for delivering high-impact live and virtual learning experiences that build franchisee and HQ capability, strengthen operational execution, and reinforce brand standards. This role oversees all instructor-led workshops, capability-building programs, and field-focused learning experiences. The Director ensures that every session (whether in-person or virtual) is delivered with consistency, clarity, and operational credibility, directly supporting business outcomes across HQ and the franchise system.
You will - Develop and execute a field capability instructional strategy aligned with operational priorities and franchise performance needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of instructors responsible for delivering franchise and HQ workshops.
- Establish delivery standards, facilitation expectations, and performance criteria for all instructors.
- Ensure instructors maintain strong operational credibility and deliver learning experiences that reflect real-world conditions.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, funding and execution of all live and virtual workshops.
- Ensure programs and courses reinforce operational standards, drive performance outcomes, and support business growth.
- Partner with Operations, Franchise Leaders, and Franchise Support teams to understand capability needs and refine workshop focus.
- Collaborate with Instructional Design to ensure ILT content supports consistent delivery and operational alignment.
- Work with Learning Experience and Multimedia Teams to optimize virtual delivery tools and learner experience.
You have - 5+ years in learning delivery, facilitation, field training, or operational capability development.
- 3-5+ years leading instructor or operational teams.
- Demonstrated success improving capability, performance, or execution consistency through instructor-led training.
- Deep expertise in facilitation, adult learning principles, and experiential learning methods.
- Strong understanding of IICRC standards, operational standards, field realities, and performance drivers.
- Strong project leadership skills • able to manage scheduling, logistics, and multiple concurrent workshops.

Education - Bachelor's degree or higher education preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions - Fast-paced high-pressure office and field environment.
- Standard working hours, based on a 40-hour work week.
- Additional working hours required as needed to complete assignments and projects on schedule
- Travel can be up to 60% as required by business conditions.
