What You'll Be Doing

As the Fee-Based Solutions (FBS) Program Management Director, you'll lead the business and product components of the CIBC Private Investment Council (CPIC) Modernization Program within Private Wealth Management. You'll oversee multiple agile product development teams, ensuring their work aligns with the program's strategic objectives. Drawing on your deep experience with brokerage and wealth management platforms, you'll provide guidance and direction to program team members and play a key role in the program delivery leadership team. You'll make strategic decisions, manage program direction, planning, staffing, and financials throughout the program lifecycle. In addition to program delivery, you'll manage the CPIC offer and platform, ensuring it meets client needs, reflects market trends, and supports organizational goals. Your leadership will drive innovative, client-centric investment counsel solutions for high-net-worth clients across all CIBC channels, while fostering long-term relationships and ongoing improvements to the CPIC operating platform. You'll also support enhancements to the W360 Investment Book of Records (IBOR) platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that elevate both client and employee experiences.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $111,060 to $130,000.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

We are committed to providing fair, equitable, and competitive compensation opportunities for all employees and we encourage open conversations about compensation throughout the recruitment process.

Approve software solution design recommendations to ensure alignment with business needs and deliver a best-in-class user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Change Management - Collaborate with teams across Program Management, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to gain consensus on product roadmaps and execute enhancements. Lead change management initiatives related to transitioning to new integrated applications for onboarding, portfolio management, reporting, and back-office operations.
  • Business Consulting and Information Architecture - Provide leadership and expertise in business consulting and information architecture to ensure excellent client and employee experiences.
