Job OverviewThe
Director, Equity and Executive Compensation will be responsible for all global equity administration for CRL eligible employees and Board compensation. This role will manage the relationship with the third-party equity administration vendor and collaborate with Legal, Finance and the office of the CEO. Other duties related to executive compensation and the proxy statement will also be required.
This position will work remote from home office located in the USA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage the annual equity planning cycle, as well as off-cycle grants and the ESPP. Ensure timely processing of compensation for the Board of Directors and senior executives, including stock ownership governance and appropriate SEC filings.
- Maintain data in third-party vendor's system while liasing with HR Operations to ensure data integrity.
- Perform SOX controls and maintain corresponding documentation.
- Assist in preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee, proxy statement and ad hoc executive compensation analysis.
SCOPE/COMPLEXITY:The Director, Equity and Executive Compensation has latitude to make decisions in collaboration with Human Resources leadership, Finance and Legal.
Stakeholders: - Executive Director, Compensation and Recognition - Reason for interaction: Supervision
- VP Head of Legal, Securities and Corporate Governance - Reason for interaction: Share tracking, Officer filings, proxy statement
- Manager, North America Accounting - Reason for interaction: Ensuring data integrity to record equity expense
- SVP, People Operations and Total Rewards and Chief People Officer - Reason for interaction: Provide analysis and consult for decision-making
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:•
Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Human Resources or related discipline•
Experience: 8-10 years' experience with global equity administration•
Other: Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; Excellent analytical and organizational skills; Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Certification/Licensure: Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
Compensation DataThe pay range for this position in the USA is $150K - $185K USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, location and any collective agreements, if applicable. Remote candidates located outside of the USA should be aware that the relevant pay range varies based on country and location.
