Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: Iowa and Tennessee

This position manages Equipment Finance Operations. Responsible for a team of associates who provide processing and operational support for Equipment Financing activities. Oversees daily workflow to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout all activities. Develops business plans that improve processes and performance. Creates operational policies and procedures, ensures their maintenance, and monitors for compliance within the department. Leads operational project planning and execution. Partners with business leaders, teams, and other stakeholders towards the achievement of high operational standards.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Operations Oversight - Directs daily activities within Equipment Finance operations, ensuring processing is both timely and accurate. Review operational processes for opportunities for improvement and make appropriate changes. Addresses escalated operational or service issues, communicating with all involved parties for resolution. Implement and manage projects that support business and departmental goals.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensures all operational policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated. Ensure compliance with all policies, processes, and internal controls as assigned and agreed upon within the 1st line of defense. Design an effective Quality Assurance Program with clear testing parameters and methodology.
  • Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve team goals. Makes appropriate changes to operations policies, procedures, and internal controls to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
  • Collaboration - Works closely with department leadership, sales management, and other business units to support business strategy and ensure goals are achieved. Directs change across the department. Serves as the liaison between Equipment Finance operations and other business units.
  • Operations Liaison - Act as contact point for all non-operations owned initiatives to ensure Operations impacts and risks are considered and addressed.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience in Financial Services Operations

High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Financial Services Operations

Position Specific Skills & Qualifications:
  • Develop ideas and turn them into actionable project plans
  • Manage assigned projects and sponsoring certain operational processes inclusive of technology needs
