Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Safety Director directs, develops, and oversees the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization, implementing short and long-range strategic safety goals, while identifying EHS concerns and recommending solutions

  • This role oversees safety and compliance programs and processes, conducting internal safety location audits and inspections to monitor compliance and effectiveness of company pro

  • You will manage and maintain accident rate statistics while creating and revising new safety programs to maintain safety regulation compliance 

  • In this role you will implement and monitor effectiveness of employee safety training curriculum and conduct formal investigations on all major work-related incidents, issuing a report on the root cause and recommending any suggestions

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 plus years of related experience and 6 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 13 plus years of specific experience and 8 plus years of leadership experience

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s Degree
