Job Description

Honeywell is seeking a Director of Enterprise Organizational Change Management to lead the people and adoption strategy for its S/4HANA transformation. This leader will establish an integrated approach to preparing employees and leaders for changes to business processes, roles, data practices, and ways of working across businesses and deployment waves.

The Director will work with business leaders, the S/4 program, IT, Communications, HR and Learning, and external partners to turn the transformation roadmap into a practical change plan. Success will be measured by business readiness, user proficiency, sustained adoption, and progress toward the business outcomes the transformation is intended to deliver.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities
  • Own the S4 enterprise OCM strategy, multiyear roadmap, standards, governance, and minimum deliverables for each deployment wave.
  • Establish a clear model for executive sponsorship, SBG engagement, business change leads, site leaders, change champions, and super users. Coach leaders on the actions required of them before and after go-live.
  • Define the approach to stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, readiness, resistance management, training, feedback, adoption, and sustainment. Ensure the approach is applied consistently while allowing for local business needs.
  • Partner with enterprise and SBG Communications teams on audience plans, messages, leader communications, and timing. Provide change insights and content requirements while Communications owns its channels and editorial processes.
  • Set the framework for measuring readiness, training effectiveness, proficiency, adoption, and business value. Work with process owners and finance or value teams to agree on baselines, targets, data owners, and review cadence.
  • Integrate OCM plans with the program's process, data, technology, testing, cutover, and deployment plans. Escalate risks when business readiness is out of step with technical readiness.
  • Direct the OCM scope delivered by TCS for initial deployments, including priorities, deliverable quality, knowledge transfer, and the transition to a repeatable internal capability.
  • Lead post-go-live listening and reinforcement across waves, using feedback and performance data to improve subsequent deployments.
  • Build and coach the internal OCM team and the wider network of business change practitioners.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Significant experience leading organizational change for complex, multi-business or global transformations, including accountability for strategy and delivery across multiple deployments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior business sponsors and translate process and technology changes into implications for people, roles, decisions, and performance.
  • Experience establishing measurable readiness and adoption outcomes and acting on evidence when a deployment is at risk.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and partner management skills.

WE VALUE
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ERP transformation, or a comparably broad operating model change.
  • Experience in an industrial or diversified enterprise with multiple businesses and functions.
  • Familiarity with a recognized change methodology such as Prosci and ADKAR.

The successful candidate will combine enterprise perspective with a willingness to engage directly with business leaders and employees. SAP knowledge is useful; ownership of technical solution design or system configuration is not part of this role.
