Job DescriptionThe Director, Enterprise FP&A leads the enterprise financial planning and analysis function across the company's platforms and business units. This role owns the operating model for enterprise reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, and is the primary analytical partner to the CFO, platform CFOs, and corporate leadership in a private-equity-backed environment with ongoing M&A and portfolio activity. The Director leads a team of managers and analysts, sets the standards the platforms report to, and is accountable for the integrity, timeliness, and decision-value of everything the function produces, from the monthly consolidation through executive, Board, and sponsor reporting.
This role is based onsite in our Irvine, CA office.
As the Director, Enterprise FP&A, you'll get the opportunity to:- Own the enterprise reporting and planning operating model end to end, including the monthly consolidation, management reporting, budget, forecast, and long-range plan.
- Set the calendar, standards, and definitions the platforms and business units work to.
- Serve as the reviewer of consolidated financial results and of the corporate reporting packages built from them.
- Act as FP&A partner to the Sr. Director, FP&A and other members of Financial Leadership. Bring forward the issues and trade-offs leadership should be deciding on, not only the results.
- Own executive and Board reporting, including the narrative, the framing of variances, and the readiness of leadership for those discussions.
- Own sponsor, lender, and other external stakeholder reporting, and ensure consistency between what is reported internally and externally.• Set the standard for variance and driver analysis across the enterprise, and hold the team and the platforms to it.
- Own enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, including the guidance issued to platform and brand teams, consolidation, and executive review.
- Own the architecture of the enterprise financial model and the scenario framework used for decision support.
- Own the FP&A systems, data, and automation roadmap. Sponsor planning-tool and BI investment and partner with IT and Accounting on delivery.
- Lead FP&A support for M&A and divestiture activity, from diligence through integration and post-close performance monitoring.
- Partner with Accounting and Controllership on close, data integrity, and definitional consistency across enterprise reporting.
- Build and lead the enterprise FP&A team. Hire, develop, and manage both managers and analysts, set priorities, and build succession depth.
You Have:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis, including at least 4 years leading teams and experience managing through managers. Private-equity-backed and multi-entity environments strongly preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing a finance team, including hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
- Executive Presence: Credibility with C-suite, Board, and sponsor audiences. Able to present complex financial results clearly and hold a room under questioning.
- Financial Acumen: Deep command of EBITDA and adjusted EBITDA bridges, cash flow, working capital, and leverage and covenant metrics.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas) and PowerPoint; experience owning or implementing enterprise planning tools (e.g., Planful, NetSuite, SAP) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Analytical Strength: Sets the standard for accuracy and rigor, and can separate signal from noise in large, imperfect datasets.
- Influence: Able to partner with and constructively challenge senior operating and finance leaders who do not report to this role.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent change; able to manage competing priorities and deadlines and thrive in ambiguity.
- Character: High integrity and trustworthiness with confidential information, including compensation, headcount, and transaction data.
You Might have:- Experience owning enterprise reporting and planning for a large, multi-platform or multi-entity organization.
- Track record designing and implementing enterprise reporting, budgeting, or forecasting processes, not only operating existing ones.
- Experience with sponsor or lender reporting in a private-equity-backed company.
- Leadership of a planning-system or BI implementation.
- Prior leadership of M&A or divestiture analysis and post-close integration reporting.
- Experience in a transformation, carve-out, or restructuring environment.

Pay Range:Annual Salary: $165,000.00 - $195,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
